In this tutorial you will learn how to create basic and simple website layout.

First create new document 800×600 pixels. Paint the whole document in #435375. Now set the selection tool and make a selection of about 700×550 pixel in the middle. paint it whit and add some dropshadow. It should look like this:

Now at the top create a selection of about 5 pixels and fill it with color #143B8F.

Create another one about 100 pixels lower.

Now create a gradient from 2 colors. I used #143B8F and #436FCE. Using the selection tool make a selection in the top white area and fill it with the gradient color. Leave some space for the menu bar.

Now set the #37393F color and make menu.
