Learn how to create a shiny orb in Paint Shop Pro.

Create a new document 300×300 pixels and fill lit with light blue-white gradient color. Get the selection tool and set the selection type to circle and draw a circle selection on the image.

Now make a gradient from #181860 and #3399ff. Set the gradient style to sunburst and fill the selection.

Create new layer. Get the selection to again and make small circle selection at the bottom of the orb. Fill it with gradient from #3399ff to white to look like this.

Apply Gaussian Blur with radius 10.

Now to the last step again but make a larger circle at the top of the orb.

Again apply Gaussian Blur now with radius 15.

That is it. You can also add a little shadow.
