Abstract waves

Lear to crate some abstract waves in PSP.

First create new image with withe background and size of 500×500 pixels. Select brush tool with black color and size of 10. Draw some random lines on canvas.

Go to menu Effects>Artistic Effects>Colored Foil and use the following settings:

Now you should have something like this:

Now go to menu Adjust>Blur>Radial Blur and use this settings:

Now you should have something like this:

Now go to menu Effects>Distortion Effects>Twirl and use this settings:

Now you should have something like this:

Now duplicate the background layer and go again to Effects>Distortion Effects>Twirl, but this time set the Degrees to -520 and you should have this:

Now set the blend mode of copied layer to Lighten to get something like this:

Now go to menu Adjust>Brightness and Contrast>Curves and play with RGB curves to get some color in the image:

Go to menu Adjust>Brightness and Contrast>Levels and use this settings:

And you should have the final image:

    As a sidenote, this also works well using difference clouds instead of the lines as your base image. Nice demonstration of an interesting technique. :)
