Learn to create modern navigation box in Paint Shop Pro.

First create new document and fill it with background color. Get selection tool and make rectangle selection and add some drop shadow to it.

Create a gradient color  and fill the selection.

Now make another selection inside.

Fill the selection with black.

Create new layer. Go to menu Selections>Modify>Contract  and contract the selection 5 pixels. Fill the selection with gradient color.

Set the lasts layer Opacity to 45%.

You can use the pen tool to make some dividers to the menu and write some text on it.
